Does skate have a character customization feature. If so how complex is it, in other words how much can you actually customize?

Thz in advance

Skate does have custom characters for the story as well as taking it to your online sessions. There's a lot of pre-sets for your character's face and the options for your clothing, shoes and deck are good and all of that can be changed in a skate shop. Overall, it suits the game and there's a lot of different options to choose from.

Yes, it does.

It's pretty complex. Haven't played the game in a little while, but as far as I remember you can unlock then buy shirts, shoes, trousers, hats and things like that. You can edit their hair, buy sun glasses and accessories like watches and stuff.

So yeh, it's pretty complex.

Complex in accessories, but not even close when it comes to the character itself. The range of faces is limited, because it seems that as much as you try to do to change the face, you always end up with a guy who looks kind of the same as everyone else. There are no female characters, either. But from a clothing and accessories standpoint the game has TONS of licensed and non-licensed clothing from the majority of the big companies in skateboarding today. I'm hoping it will be a little deeper with skate 2, or at the very least a facial editor that is closer to tiger woods.

The only bad part i see is that most of the clothes are pre set so you cant change a color or design. Other than that the character features are good.
