Yeah... NHL 08 is a generic sports game with just slight upgrades... you've been keeping up with it haven't you...
I would go with both (that's what I'm doing). If you an only get one though, get hockey because you can do eight people online. That means lots of replay value.
No,its 3vs3 online.Hmm,I'm still undecided at the moment but I'm leaning towards skate.I've played both demo's and I'm just not feeling it for NHL this year.I've been an EA fan for years but something about 08 just feels weird and I don't find that I'm enjoying the game.Now skate on the other hand,I play the demo and I have a blast everytime.There's always something new to try in that small skatepark.Imagine what you could find in the entire city!It says in NHL 08 that its a "new experience" every game and you'll never see the same thing twice,but its already starting to feel old and its only been out for a few hours.I still appreciate your feedbackand keep giving it as I said that I was still undecided but I'm pretty sure in the end, skate will get the purchase and I might give NHL 08 a rent unless I can get someone to buy it for me.;)
I'd say NHL 08 is the better online deal with the Create a League feature and the shootout feature online plus the addition of the Create a Play feature should make a lot of improvements to this years NHL game
Ahahaha,wow...anger management can help that you know.I've kind of come to a decision...and its really hard and people might be like,wtf,but its what I think is best for me personally.I'm going to get both game...instead of getting just one as well as Halo 3.Ok...let that sink in,that I'm ditching Halo 3 at least for the time being in exchange for an EA title.The reason?I have never owned Halo1 or 2 because I used to have a PS2 and I've only played a little bit of Halo 1 and 2 and to be honoust,I really didn't have that great a time with them.So,there it is,I'll be heading to EB tommorow to pre-order these games and ditch my Halo 3 pre-order.
