So i got the demo and i thought it was really fun... but i don't no if i will want to play it for a long time.. is the demo misleading, if i don't get this game i will probably get turok but i already have cod 4 and halo 3, so i want a break from fps. What are some other extreme sports games that are good or better than skate(if there are any) thanks.

There aren't any, at least not on the 360, for the xbox and ps2 I'd say ssx 3 is the best. But get skate, it's excellent, the dmo is not misleading at all, tons of content, hours of fun, if nothing else, it's the game u pick up when u feel u need some variation.

From everyone i know they completely love it. I haven't played it though skating games aren't my thing. But it looks pretty good and all of my friends that have played it still play it.

^ Crazy-talk! This is one of the few games definately worth $60!

I was on the fence after the demo too, but am so glad I bought it. The size of the world is unbelievable... and it takes a solid amount of time to finish it. Expect close to 30 hours of play time to beat the offline challenges (storyline).

If you've played a lot of Tony Hawk's, you'll struggle. And I found the game hell for a bit, especially the pro challenges. But it is very fun just to free-skate. Go for it.

not big on sports games, but skate is awesome! i don't even know why anyone would go back to the tony hawk series after this game.
