Well, its almost December, and most of the high profile games have already been released, some dissapointing and others living up to the expectation. So which games made it and which ones fell short. Vote.
Id say halo 3 was NOT as expected. i would have atleast liked a better single player game, it was too short. definately an online game only. So assasins creed for me
Call of Duty 4 delivered, some say the campaign is short, but if you play it in the hardest difficulty and pace yourself by playing online then it really is a great experience. Also I'll be buying Mass Effect and perhaps Assassins Creed today.
Assasins creed was even better than i thought. The huge world that felt so alive and real, like when people scream when a dead body suddenly comes down beneath them :D
But Mass Effect sure as hell also looks like its going to fail to disappoint me, im getting it this friday:) Finally, i will have my precious:)
I think it would have to be COD4 since I love that game to death and won't get enough of it for a long time. The only problem I had with it was that my xbox broke and now I'm patiently waiting to get it back.
I will say Call Of Duty 4 because I really think that offers what the players expected, good multiplayer, good action moments and the same gameplay (with some improvements) as the others COD's
I only played the Beta but from what I see, it is a great game.
I haven't (im Portuguese, so if I write wrong, im sorry) played the other games exept Halo 3, that I really enjoy but the Multiplayer is a bit weak because of the maps. A thing that i love in Halo 3 online is Rocket Racing, it's just awsome!
Well I bought and have played Mass Effect for about 7 hours, its amazing, but its not without its flaws. From that list I still need to play Assassins Creed and Kane and Lynch. But so far its Mass Effect for game of the year.
