All this talk about NXE (new xbox expeirence) and the avatar creator has me worried that all the awesome gamerpics i downloaded and in some cases purchased will become obsolete when the update arrives on Nov.19. I like the avatar idea but personally it isn't for me, I would rather use my gamerpics instead. Anyone know if Gamerpics will still work come Nov.19?

You definitely DO get to keep your gamerpics, you can see them when viewing someone's profile, it's in the top right hand corner on many videos and M$ have confirmed gamerpics will still be useable. Hope that helps :).
As said in the official NXE thread that is stickied you can use ur gamerpics after the update, you get the choice between using and Avitar and gamerpics
