Name one game that really has surprised you so far in 2010. It can be bad or good, or both.

Then, name one game you are really looking forward to in the second half of 2010.

For me, most surprisingly good game has got to be LIMBO. I know it's an XBLA game, but for the low price, I got an awesome experience that drew me in and had me playing for hours at a time. I had read about it and saw videos, but nothing really sold me. Then I played the demo and needed more.

For now, I'm most looking forward to the new Medal of Honor. That may change.

If playing an old game for the first time counts, then Mirror's Edge surprised me. It wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for it to be. It is a pretty cool and unique game but I have yet to finish it. I got it for like £3 last month. One game that I am really looking forward to in the second half of the year would have to be Rock Band 3 :D.

I have to say I was surprised as to how fun Limbo was. I don't have enough microsoft points to buy it but the trial really makes want to get it. I've really been looking forward to Halo Reach.

1. Red Dead Redemption, I expected it to be a middle of the road type game, but it ended up exploding and becoming a likely GTOY winner.

2. I'm not looking forward to that much now. I'd have to say LA Noir because that looks to be a really unique experience if it's pulled together right.

I am looking forward to halo reach as well as a ton of other games coming out in october and november.

I think my most surprising disapointment would be Dante's Inferno. Yeah, I know all of the typical gripes, but I really did expect it to be better despite negative previews. I played through it and beat it. I tried to play through again with all the upgrades, but I was so tired of it. I beat it just to beat it, not because it was fun. And the DLC...that leaves something to be desired too...

I was on the fence with Alan Wake, but I got it for cheaper than expected and enjoyed the hell out of it. I don't normally like horror games like that, but Alan Wake was great.

Looking forward to Fallout New Vegas.

I just got doom recently also and thought it was amazing, like you i'm also looking forward to Halo Reach

RDR was surprising

and iu am looking forward to reach the most but there are all 3 others i cant wait for gt5, assassins creed, and fallout

I would say the same but the other night I encountered a game-breaking glitch and have to start over after 15 hours play.

Fun game up till then though.

My favorite game this year has probably been Bayonetta. The fighting was pretty satisfying.

Im really looking forward to Dead Rising 2.
