But my monitor doesn't have the input for the sound connectors (red and white cables). Is there a way to connect both my computer and my Xbox to the same monitor and have sound come out through the USB speakers? If so, how?

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I do have speakers that connect to the back of my computer through a green wire. The thing is I can't reach it with the VGA cable seeing as my monitor is on my desk and my computer is on the bottom. And I can't connect anything to the speakers, there's no jack or anything that would allow me to do that.

There are extensions and adaptors that will provide both the extra length and the switch from A/V cables to your computer speakers. Very easy to find at radio Shack or other electronics and audio places. You can convert pretty much any cord into any other cord, it's easy. Also you might want to use your monitor for video and home stereo system for audio, once again possible with the riht cord and adaptor.

You need to find the headphone jack on the back of your TV. That's what that little atatchment it comes with is for
