Arn't they suppose to, you know, send me a replacment?

Microsoft doesn't just send you free replacements. That's like eating a full meal at Olive Garden then telling the manager you want a refund because of the quality of the food.

On a more serious note, just keep calling MS and lie to them. Tell them you got the mic. from them as compensation for your console breaking and they'll have you send in the broken mic. and then they send you a new one. Works like a charm, I've done it twice.

Not at all. It is their fault for it breaking. I just turned it on, and it died. Won't charge, won't turn on. If they dont send a free replacement for that then what DO they send it for? It not turning on the day i got it?

Who buy's from BestBuy? Three months? If a mic dies in three months M$ have some really bad problems. They normaly last up to five-ish then just die. Like mine. Second one to die too. 180 dollar's is quite a bit just foraccessories, especially when they won't even cover them from dying....randomly.

You see i did this thing with google(maybe you've heard of it?). It says they give free replacements for wireless mic's. I was asking here to see if its true.

If it was one that was bought separately from the 360, then why not just return it where you bought it at?

Well I did buy mine from BestBuy because I eventually get something out of itand nothing at Gamestop. I had 3 break and I was able to replace one of them through the warranty versus none so. Some mics last along time and other just die.

Well wasting your time on here certainly isn't solving anything and you aren't willing to do anything pro-active about it, by your attitude on here you were probably just making the representative angry on the phone, maybe you could call back and not be a jerk. :)

Actually, i didnt say anything to him but, "Yes" "Mhmm, still not working" then he went on in his damn idian accent acting like anyone can understand what he is saying. What would you recommend i do? Go buy a new one? Call them again? Yes thats very pro-active. (btw did you get that from an elementary school lesson?)If you think im being a "jerk" I think your gonna have to say hello to real world. I am not being ANYTHING like a jerk.

If you have a wireless mic break in under three months, then i think you should handle them a little more careful. Oh wait, i forgot they randomly die.

Honestly you do have to pretty much make up a story for them. Tell them in a very nice way you were screwed over and if you bother them enough they might throw you a bone.

Did it come with the console? If not, your out of luck, it has a 3 month warranty (i think) and thats it.

Yeah.... it isn't their job to give you freebies. When your car breaks down you can't call the manufacturer for a replacement (well, unless there is a warranty.) Things break, thats life. You just have to spend the God awful amount of 14 dollars for a new one.

What type of mic did you buy? I have had the same MS mic that came with my 360 for nearly two years. Where are you getting 5 months?

Dude it's a $20 mic. Honestly it's not even worth their time. And why are you calling MS and not the store you bought it from? Lol.

Was it still under warranty? If not, then the answer is no, they weren't supposed to send you a replacement.

I hope you don't get your replacement purely because your attitude stinks. Don't say you don't have an attitude because judging by your ignorance and racist remarks shows you need to chill a second. Not the end of the world go and buy a new one for christ sake.

MS have sent me several free replacements. Im temped to just lie and claim a new free HDD. They've not once asked me for any proof i even have the item in question ...
