Wow a little late. gears has died off some. I always see the same crowd. Also being a noob sucks since the game has been out 6 months, Everone I know on gears has been playing for months myself included, everyone is good.

I just started playing Gears a few weeks ago and you're right, its useless to me. Everyone is good, knows the techniques, I barely have any time in a match to learn how to play. So I play every once in awhile, get owned, and look at the acheivement list wistfully...Â

See, if you had bought it when it came out, only mature people played in the first month or so...then it went downhill as the "annoying casuals" got wind of this great game. Also, try playing unranked matches...that's what I did and I got the best players typically. :wink:
Yeah I have Halo 2, but the kids on this are way worse. I've actually figured out most of the technique and can hold my own in player matches. But I figure it'll just be better to trade this for COD3 tomorrow.

play a player match, Annex, with a long time limit. best way to practice since you get to spawn. Annex also helps to show you were all the weapons are, since the weapon spots are where the annex circles are.Â

I say go for it... the best fun of this game, is the single player mode anyway. Plus you can play it cooperatively with someone else over live if you want.Â
LOL you couldnt have said it any better. ive been playing the game since it came out, found a clan and i still have my ass handed to me on a golden platter in the ranked matches. thats where the actual pros play
