so I have the budget for ONE shooter game.....

mw2, bfbc2, or l4d2? or other? i dont have a gold subscription but will probably pick one up when i get the game. thanks for your input. p.s. i have not played previous games in the battlefield or call of duty franchises.

Go Rent them then decide...MW2 has a Hugh fan base and a great Single player story line but it's aarcade shooter ...BC2 is a up and coming game series with more a tactical edge

Consider that, if you looked into older titles, you might have the budget for two shooter games.

depends what you want

BF games are placed on a bigger map with vehicles and it is more tactical then mw.

mw2 is fast pace run and gun game the games are placed on small to median maps not as tactical of BF

personally i prefer cod over BF because i'm a person wants things fast and up close fights. in the end it's what type of gameplay you really looking for. fast pace shooter or little slower but somewhat fast more tactical then cod

i still don't understand why people say things about games when they don't even have it their self. like 4real dude. Why are you saying BFBC2 is best shooter when you dont even have the game?

i just took a look at your gamertag and you dont even own/played the fist BFBC so how do you even know about the second one?

Battlefield : Bad Company 2's multiplayer and fairly big campaign will keep you busy for hours. Mass Effect 2's Camplaign will...well keep you busy for days! Not sure whether it has multiplayer or not but if it does, it'll just get longer. By the way the games mentioned above will not only last long, but is a HECK of a lot of fun!!! Though if you like fast shooters, Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 is the one for you. :)

If I were you I'd definitely go for BFBC2. When you play MW2 yoou develop this certain style of playing that involves being the lone wolf and camping which will get you absolutely no where in BFBC2. This isn't true for everyone, but it certainly was for me.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is what I would recommend if you play on Xbox Live. The campaign is good and the multiplayer is very fun.
