So I just got my 360 back from the repair center...

and I am so pleasantly suprised.

First off, at how friendly the people at the repair center were.

Second, at how fast the service was, (Shipped to repair center on Oct 26 and got it back today: Nov 9).

Third, at how quiet my system is now...it is...eerie how quiet it is. They most definietly replaced the fan with a quieter one or something because Its sooo much nicer now.

and they sent me 1 month free live (I assume they do this for everyone and not just me).

Needless to say, I am very happy.

I was actually worried I may not be able to play Assassin's Creed and I had reserved the LE with the action figure for months.

That's good. I'm waiting for the coffin for my 2nd console to come and I hope I get a system with a recent MFR date that runs quieter just like yours.

It is the same system I sent them, At-least from the outside anyways since the serial number and a couple of scratches on the back side of the system are still there.

Turn on your 360 and look at the front of the DVD drive. Does the DVD tray have two square holes on the front or is it just completely flat?

The 360 is loud because of certain DVD-Drives, not because of the fans.

Turn on the 360 without a game or movie and you will just hear the fans. put a game in and it gets loud because the Dvd-drive.

Anways, I'm glad they fixed your xbox.
