It does sound like a connection issue to me, of some kind. Have you tried cleaning the metal connections between the cable and the system?
It might be a good idea to try another cable if you can.
Oh man. Microsoft really needs to get their act together. With games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy coming out for PS3 this year AND with Sony's price being equal to Microsoft's now. I am no fanboy. I am just simply looking at the facts. After two years and billions of dollars later Microsoft still is having problems with the "Red Ring of Death.."
ANYWAY, what I do not understand is why they gave you a crappy A/V cable to begin with. I mean you already sent it back to get a new one... How funny they are. I still have to wait another week to get my Xbox 360 back. I will have to let you know if I have the same problem...
so they send you back the same xbox (minus a few changes)? I'm about to send mine out due to the disk drive probably has everything possible wrong with it. Also, do you have to ship it to washington? If so, that sucks cause I live in Maine, ughh
