The Nyko cooler is working miracles on my Xbox 360. It keeps it cool after 5 hours of gameplay. :o sinistergogglesIt will soon infuse with your xbox :o
To answer your question, no, it is very unlikely that it will short your 360. That was a major problem with the original Nyko Intercooler, but with the Nyko Intercooler EX, they fixed the problem and also made it quieter.tyuzfuny
I owned the Nyco EX and used it for about 2 months before I started having problems with it. First my 360 just ran slower but then it began to feeze and red lights would flash on my console (not rrod pattern). I thought my 360 was gonna bite the dust but took the fan off anyways and it started to work better again.
To sum this post up I highly do not recommend those intercoolers nor are they necessary. I can play my 360 for several hours without worrying about over heating even with out an exterior fan.
they can mess up your 360 and if you ever send it in to get repaird and microsoft see's it was the fans fault they will not fix m even call them and ask they tell you because its not a microsft produce
if you consurn about the heat get 2 blocks put them together on the ground some space in the middle and lay 360 on top it will stay cool as if you standing it up in mid air dont think you covering up the vents on the boot you can easy tell the air is comeing out of the system in the back by the cords leave the top vents thop cuz thats where it brings it in
yeah i got the EX one... and its pretty good... i can play for hours and not fret about my 360... and its as quiet as my WiiYyin9564
It is either not on then or you don't have one and have no idea what your talking about. The EX is horribly loud and the Wii is quiter then a mouse.

^^^ how do they know if it was the Intercooler's fault?
