So, I'm Getting Oblivion...

But from what I've heard, the leveling system is a bit different from other games that involve leveling up.

So could someone explain what I'm in here for and how Oblivion is different from a typical RPG?

So it's essentially 70 skill-ups until an actual level-up?

And what are the maximum levels that I can get for skills? Does my actual level matter or is it just my skill levels?

u need to skill up 10 total times for either of ur 10 major skills to level up. all could be on one skill or u can do like 3 here, 5 here, 2 herestr8_messy

Its a great game you should get it. the only real way for you to understand what you are in for is to just play the game. you wont regret it

Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles come with the GOTY edition, right? Can't find it at all.

Oblivion is like my favorite game on the 360. It doesnt suck by any means, it is a great RPG.
If you have to, rent it first...then you'd wish you bought it.
