well they arent really 'flawless'... they're just better than the older ones because of the new cooler running falcon chip.

to wetnafan, you'll be fine with yours as long as you keep it in a well ventilated area.

Don't move the thing around when playing and set it up in a place where it can ventilate enough and you'll be more then fine.
Don't listen to all the RRoD crap PlayStation fanboys are throwing around.

Hey there iam really thinking of buying a xbox 360 elite but was wondering if anyone knows if they are any more reliable to the core and premium versions?wwetnafan2008

I'm quite sure the problems which were severely over talked (hey..., that's internet: you brake a finger, next day someone is saying you died a terrible death...) are minimized by now. What seems to be left it's the 3 year warranty which is great. Elite is a good deal, however you can't go wrong with a Premium as well. All in all the most amazing system I felt honored to play with.

(expect some posts saying "please, please don't buy it" or something, lol! - be sure to check the posting history of those fellow videogamers).

The more recently made consoles are a lot more reliable.

Also even if you do get RROD (I have once) it's not a big deal you just send the console to MS and a few weeks later they send it back.

The repair is 100% free.

I do recommend getting an Elite though. I'm loving the extra storage space. :)Lance_Kalzas
