I'm hearing so much criticisms about this game since it came out. Before its release, alot of people were saying how good it "will" be. I've never played Fable ever and I've been thinking about getting Fable 2 but with so much hate over it, I'm not sure now.
It's definitely fun but it's shorter than most other RPGs. 10 hours if you rush and 17-20 hours if you take your time. The worst thing you could do is rush through Fable 2-- you'll miss out on a lot of what makes the game great if you do that.
I think its very fun and addictive like fable 1. I just think somehow my 60 bucks isn't worth it. Its a bit too short. But otherwise just rent it and see for yourself.
Its terrible. dont get it unless you think having a virtual family is fun or you dont mind a combat system with no depth or you dont mind going to point a to point b with no puzzle just kill anything in your way as quest, or you think having a virtual dog looking for treasure is groundbreaking, etc. dont buy it rent it you could beat in less than a day
way to short i honestly didnt like it also it had possibly the worst ending of any video game ive ever played but the gameplay is fun and the leveling but not many levels to go through since the game is so short you could get maxed out before you finish it
Since I last played the original Fable, which I liked, I've played a lot of stellar RPGs (KOTOR, Mass Effect, Oblivion). And it just pales in comparison to most modern day RPGs. It's rather short and the story isn't presented all that well, but it does have some redeeming qualities. The art style is fantastic and the game is very charming. Not to mention, the dog is the best companion in a video game ever. Ultimately though, I felt a little sense of disappointment after I played it, but it was fun while I was playing; not $60 worth of fun though.
before it came out i was really excited, i preorderedd it n all :( and i sold it within 3 days :/ your better off renting it. at the end...i hated this game. and dont be fooled by this whatever choice you make has a big impact, its bull. its horns or no horns, halo or no halo, fat or skinny, old orr young. and i completed this 3 times...and all my characters looked very very similar at the end of the story, even the good and evil ones.

exactly. the only thing that changes in fable 2 is old bowerstone. your appearance changes depending on your behavior which sucks btw. you should be able to customize your character appearance and not let your decison decide your appearace.
