So I've been living under a rock... (Orange Box related)

I didn't get a 360 until just recently and was looking into the Orange Box. I didn't know that it included HL2 and Eps 1 in addition to the new stuff! What a sweet deal :shock:

It doesn't seem to include CS: S though which is kind of a drag. That brings me to another thing. The CS community is still going pretty strong, well after the game's original release. Will that be the same with 360 multiplayer games? Will they still be playable years after the 360's 'death' or will they pull the plugs on the servers?

It's a HL2 package for the 360 that'll include the following:

Half Life 2

Half Life 2: Episode 1

Half Life 2: Episode 2

Team Fortress 2

Portal

Episode 1 adds on to Half Life 2, kind of like a mini sequel. Both are included in the Orange Box, along with episode 2.

You can still play every single Xbox 1 game on Live (althought I think EA shuts down the old Madden servers so you have to upgrade), so I am sure 360 games will still be online when the next xbox comes out.

Halo 2 still has a ton of people online, although I am guessing this will not be the case after Halo 3 ships.
