It took so long because I really really wanted to get MGS4 for Ps3..and who doesn't honestly.Pudgyboi

*raises hand* Honestly I've never been a fan of MGS. And judging by all the reviews I wouldn't be welcome to the party.

Anyway I'd say either CoD 4 or Halo 3 since they are the top two multiplayer games on Live.

If you like real life FPS then you should go with Call Of Duty 4, it's a great single player game and a greater multiplayer game. But if you like killing aliens and what not, You should go with Halo 3 or Gears Of War. If I were you, i'd buy Halo 3 and wait until Gears Of War 2 to come out in November.

It's hightly unlikely MGS4 will come to 360. MGS3 wasn't even on a Microsoft console. If you like MGS games you really owe it to yourself to play MGS4. It's awesome. Metal Gear Online is really good too. I think you should get a PS3. If you do you should check out Uncharted Drakes Fortune too. It has to be one of the most underated games of recent years. It really deserved more attention and better sales. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is good too. Resistance 2 looks like it will be awesome with 60 player online and Killzone 2 looks really good. There's also God of War 3 to look forward to among other things.

Bioshock is a great game so definately get that and for multiplayer Call of Duty 4 is fantastic plus it has a great single player mode which should keep you going a while as wellJosh_3691

Halo is too cliche of a game to get, " Oh it's the best FPS out there!"

My foot it is, I seem to recall the more recent COD 4 and Bioshock, those are some good FPS games with cajones; but all spatter aside, BioShock, can't go wrong with that.

Can't avoid Dead or Alive 4 or Extreme 2, I mean dude come on, you have to collect all of those swimsuits; and I think the 360 versions of Guitar Hero III and Aerosmith are better than their super bright and shiney PS3 counterpart.

I dunno, I can't really suggest alot of games, I usually go by word of mouth from experts or the game mags, or whatever seems like fun playing.

buy bioshock use or see if u can rent it because your gonna play it once 2 times if u want avchivment points good game but ya

go with halo u make friends on there fasterthen other games and u can play 4real or u can goof off on the game play around with friends thats why the dang game so goodonline

gears is good but i say wait for 2 because gears is like what 50 bucks still for a 2 year game umm rbv2 umm i would pick cod4 over that game

you will have people guranteed playing Cod 4 until after winter. maybe. everyone is gonna stop playing gears in 2 months cuz gears 2 is comin. and alot of ppl r hating on Cod WaW meaning you'll still have plenty of people to play CoD 4 with. People play Vegas 2 online. but i personally dont play vegas 2 online because in player matches people can boot you and ban you from their game whenever they feel like it. the dumbest idea ive ever seen ever put in a video game.Halo 3...well...i can relly say anything bout Halo 3. Not as many people play that as Cod 4. people only play Halo 3 nowadays for Private matches only.i dont reccomend it.

Of all the reasons I have in suggesting he buys a PS3, me not having anyone to play with isn't one of them. That is probably one of the most random things I've ever read on this forum. Well,save up some money,then wehn Gear Of War 2 comes out buy it with the first. Only if you want to know the story,otherwise, dont bother.
