At first, we all thought this game would be sick. It's clearly not sick. Every single gun has a ridiculous amount of recoil, the LMGs have no recoil (the ones that matter) the footsteps are absolutely useless. If you have ever played CS or cod4, you understand that your headset and footsteps probably mean a lot to you. Even with Ninja Pro they mean nothing, I thought 3arc was suppose to address the whole noobtube problem and the whole commando problem. Instead, we'll just give everyone a passive commando perk so you don't have to add it. I just don't understand why they would do this because if you can't create a game, and you just make a game on a modified engine of something else it doesn't really work, like we have seen with Medal of Honor in which there are two spawn points. Luckily, I didn't waste my money and got it from Gamefly, but I am quite disappointed because the gun with the least amount of recoil, according to statistics, is the famas. The famas has a huge amount of recoil compared to the tar-21 from MW2, which probably had the most recoil. In short, they fail to fix games even with patches, and they cannot create an original game. Hopefully Infinity Ward gets back together soon so we don't have to live with fail 3arc, or i'll just go back to cs 1.6 where it actually takes skill to play.
You wouldn't be the first to complain about the game. I see that you don't enjoy it. if you don't then maybe the game isn't for you. I personally find the game very enjoyable, especially in the multiplayer aspect. The weapons do tend to have significant amounts of recoil, but use a grip attachment if its affecting you this much. If you don't like the noobtubing, use flack jacket.. I'm sorry that you want to go around with ninja and ghost trying to surprise people with a sub-machine gun, but in this one, you have to give up something to get something else.

Assuming you do watch most MLG matches, people tend to use assault rifles, and ninja pro is a must. While I use silencers in public matches, red dot is probably the best for private because call outs are so perfect in competitive matches. I'm just saying, I expected a new, improved, better game with better mechanics; instead they just sold us WaW with 1/2 new graphics, new weapons, lots of recoil, and a good single player. Assault rifles can't use grip, and if you don't use ghost you generally get spawn killed, just saying.

This is Call of Duty we're talking about afterall. You expecting something fresh is nobodys fault but your own. You can't really complain, Activision makes a killing by reselling the same dang product over and over again, nothing surprising here.
just cause you suck at shooting doesnt mean the game sucks, this game takes way more skill than mw2. the gun recoil is realistic, in mw2 you can shoot someone from across the map with a light machine gun or an ak47 with no problem, this game takes more skill.
i think this is the best cod of them all, and i manage to get 25 kills every match so i have nothing to complain about. good day sir.
Oh yeah, hundreds of hours of multiplayer, combat training, theater mode, zombie modes. Yeah, the game is totally not worth $60.

OP didn't deny any of what you mentioned. But he said a bunch of other things sucked, which is why he said it wasn't worth $60.
And people need to stop using "zombies" as a reason why this game is good...The zombie modes are crap. Might be enjoyable for a 7 year old or something. But if I want a good zombie type of experience, I'll play Left 4 Dead. At least that game has real zombie scenario strategy.
cod is the same pooh everysingle year its so damn borin i had BO for 8days finished the campaign and got to about level 35 online n it just bored me to death i dont like zombies anyway never have since WaW.. cod is a annual thing like fifa or any sport game and for me thats a joke for a FPS game that is suppose to be the BEST FPS game ever... iv played better games e.g. battlefield bad company 2 for 1... halo reach and halo 3.... battlefield 1943 AND COD4< the best COD ever made,, i just dont understand why they bring a COD out EVERY SINGLE YEAR... wait ye i do activision are money grabbing C***S that throw the same crap at us each year yet we still but into ther crap :|anyway thats my rant
I don't get how you think the Famas has tons of recoil. Ever hear of bursting? They also fixed the footsteps, and they are trying to see how well they're knifing patch is going. Read the update posts they out up and you'll understand they're trying. IW gave up on their game early on, and that was before they got fired. Sure they fixed some things, but the game is still unplayable. Treyarch is fixing every problem they come across. Also some consider this to be the best CoD yet, but that's their opinions. I think it's the best since CoD 4, but 4 is still better.
Bursting never does much considering much of the recoil from the weapons on CoD are random, I read the posts everyday and nothing much has changed. I'm not uninformed, and I know when teams work hard to fix things and when others blow it off, when i'm using my headset and I can't hear footsteps it really takes the fun out of it because that is one of the basis for a competitive FPS. People spend large amounts of money on audio systems just so they can easily hear these types of things that would give away a persons position, when these things are not included, a valid game becomes invalid. This is like playing halo without motion sensor, it just doesn't work. Well, unless you're playing swat.
For a game that made $650 million in the first 5 days, I expected this game to forever change my gaming experience since the hype was thru the roof. The single player is too similar to MW and MW2. The plot is too predictable which makes the game dull. This game is huff and I wish I never dropped 60 bucks on it. The COD franchise should go in a different direction. Why was this game so hyped up? It was set in the Cold War so cmon...granted, not too many games have had their plot in the Cold War setting. But how much fun were people thinking that this game was going to be? Blacks ops is very VERY boring... No COD game would be setting records if the game was exclusive to just the Xbox...or PS...or... PC or Nintendo
I have had no problems at all using the assault rifles to great effect. Maybe you should burst fire instead of wildly spraying at your enemies? Hate to break it to you, But assault rifles aren't really that accurate when you full-auto them, so I don't see why they would be in Black Ops. The LMGs have far more recoil and you really have to fight them to nail an enemy outside of close to medium range. And as far as this being WaW with improved graphics and new features, are you kidding me? NWhat should they do with a new entry in a series? Completely get rid of and replace the formulas that made the predecessors so popular? Maybe the next CoD should be a third person music game so we don't have to hear any more whining about how CoD still plays exactly like CoD. I like MW 1 and 2, but after spending a bunch of time with Blops, I would say it is the superior game. If you don't like it, write a negative review and stop playing, don't come on here and flame a game for not catering to you and your playstyle.
I hate it when people say guns have too much recoil, seriously, what were you expecting, an automatic stapler???? Really dp you need the instakill acr just to be good. There is a tecnique called burst firing, i know its rare for you mw 2 fanboys, but you should try it. In my opinion, bo is the best game, by far that treyarch has ever made, and it is miles ahead of mw 2 in terms of balancing.
