So many haters on BFBC2?

Why do so many people seem to not like this game? No one has even stated a valid reason that it isn't good. One thread is "It plays to much like the first one" lets use the L4D2 and say "Well no duhhhh its a sequel!" Personally it is better then MW2 and common sense it's better then BFBC1.

So to all you people that find it bad. What is your VALID point for it being bad?

I like it. Day one purchase for me. ALready have had it preordered for like 3 weeks

Haters just love to hate, I personally loved the demo, I just hate those who can't follow the rules of how to play the game, hell, I see people on my own team destroying their own bomb that they should defend.

The controls feel clunky to me and I don't like the way the guns feel in the game.

I don't care what anybody says kill streaks doing all the work for is getting boring, I'm tired of seeing people walk around with dual shotguns as well COD was never meant to be like MW2, now its just a gimmick/novelty game... good thing I liked BC1, because I'm already used to BC2's gameplay.

i've been hearing that its goin to b awesome, i like it alright i loved BF 2142 lol sure the controls feel a little slower n i realize that its part of the game so im okay with that i just dun really like vehicles in FPS is all LightColor

I thought it was good. More interested in the SP though so I may just wait for the price drop or sale.

MP feels slow compared to MW2 but that just my opinion.

eh, not real fond of how the controls work exactly, though it only takes a match or two to get use to them. Vehicle controls on the other hand...offer no analog forward/backward movement, you're forced to use right/left triggers which should be for weapons, bumpers make that awkward.

which, can't be compared for vehicles I realize.

The balance is very good in BC2, notable detail has to be the echoes when you're in houses/buildings.

Snow map was sort of a poor choice for a demo, offering little detail and a bit of unnessary difficulty. At the moment, COD must have better graphics along with better framerate, but that can't be compared, because the BC2 demo looks worse than the BC1, which I'll assume this is more of a beta and the final version will be optimized much better.

I did find myself having a lot of fun just messing around for a small part of the match, killing people with the engineer's ratchet or just running circles with the light truck, caught myself laughing just doing that sort of stuff.

anyhow, main beef is vehicle controls, great game, I'll enjoy both MW2 and BC2 for their best aspects. Sorry for the ramblings above:P

no yea i no they had vehicles since the beginning, not really saying it ruins the online just sayin i prefer no vehicles is all, i enjoy gettin into a sumtin every now and then its pretty fun especially when i mess up like in the heli in BC2 demo have no idea how to fly it, crashed n died lol

killstreak rewards get extremely annoying in MW2, though.

same as me, only vehicle I need to learn how to use is the Heli. Got all the tanks, the wheeler and the UAV down, I tried flying a Heli first time- crashed.

2nd time I made a mess, made a crappy landing and got a team mate to fly it, who promptly crashed it as I had no clue they were in the same boat as me:?

People hate on the game cuz the guns have RECOIL !!! ,hard to snipe with assault rifles in bad company

I agree. I love the fact that people can't camp much (if at all) in BFBC2. Don't get me wrong, MW2 is a great game, but I just love the atmosphere in BFBC2 more. Bombs dropping everywhere, buildings going down, trees falling over, hiding behind walls to avoid tanks, it's awesome!

To be fair I do agree, the controls are a bit clunky and I cant get used to them!, HOWEVER the game is awesome and even though I get killed over 20 times and dont even get a kill myself im still purchasing it as its the fun factor thats sucked me in, plus the FullGame may be different......brilliant game!!

i agree with u im getting the game march 2 i ask my friend to download it he said he didnt like it i said why because it just like number 1 i cant wait for the game

Its just MW2 fanboys afraid to admit there is a game that can contend with their beloved camp fest. Or it's MW2 players who want to be good at this game but suck at it because it doesn't have aim assist and a bunch of perks/killstreaks. nate_c-12

Seems some of you dont understand that some just have different 'preferences'. I prefer MW2 cuz it has slicker gameplay, and is more 'pick-up-and-play'. It feels like a more polished game, and I like that. BF isn't 'bad', but its just not for me. Feels too clunky. I blame CoD for spoiling me. :P

the main reason iv herd why people dont like bfbc2 isnt even valid, it just shows how stupid they are. they complain about the game not being like mw2 or copying mw2 or something else that has to do with mw2. but what they cant understand no matter how many times you tell them is battlefield IS NOT mw2. battlefeilds been around for some time. i use to play bf2 on pc everyday, and still jump over cause the games still great. and i cant wait for this game to come out. i cant even play mw2 anymore with one glitch after another, hell the bc2 demo is a mw killer for me

2nd this, and they give up a little on graphics to give you a gaint world that you can blow up almost everything in

Mabey cause the game is to real for them to handle, so they gotta hate cause they prefer to stick to silly shooters instead of real wargames.

no your not understanding, they compaire mw2 to battelfield, and thats like compairing coke and pepsi, sure there both soda but there different as well. the people that arnt giving bc2 a chance are the ones coming straight modern warfare and arent opend minded about there being other fps wargame out there

I can't say I don't like it but I don't see myself playing it after the demo. I spent an hour getting owned every time I tried to even make any progress until I decided to snipe. it seemed like no matter what I was failing at cover and the people around me were succeeding about 90% of the time no matter how many shots I fire in to an opponent I didn't seem to hit its just my bad luck I'm guessing. I may try again but not today it gave me a headache and no I'm not a MW2 fan I have even played it heck the last war game I think I played was RTCW on the PC maybe I'm just out of the loop now XD

I don't hate it, it's just so "meh." It has fun moments when it comes to vehicular combat and the destruction is cool, but it feels clunky (and not in the realistic sense). Guns are underwhelming, the two shot bolt action being one, and the lack of interest when I'm playing by myself is a true killer in it's attempt to get me to buy it. I don't judge a book by it's cover or it's first three chapters so we'll see how it fares when it is released, but for now I'm sticking to Rock Band and Mass Effect.

The truth is, wecant talk about BFBC2 without mentioning MW2. They are both great and decent(respectively), but everyone that said BFBC2 is bad, love MW2. So for us to not compare BFBC2 to MW2 while talking about this is impossible. "Oh I don't like it because I play mw2". Isn't that the same thing?

i wonder if the people complaining about the controls realize there's a sensitivity option.

I thought the demo was great. I didn't have any issues with the controls. Probably going to buy it right when it comes out since I finished Gears of War 2 online and need a new multiplayer game.

i think its a fun demo, but not sure if i'll buy it. i like the feel of the game more than mw2, but not by much. oh and I'm horrible at online shooters.....

same happened with the first BC. oh its just a CoD4 wanna be and yadda yadda yadda. well i got CoD4 and i didnt like it at all. i got BC and i loved it. and i cant wait for BC2.
