That's probably an estimated time frame. Doesn't exactly mean that you'll get it back in that time. Some people have not received their 360 for serveral weeks.
all the actual repairs dont take long, its the process of callin xbox to receiving the box to send in your broken xbox to get it fixed, getting it sent back to you all combined that take time. its probably been 2 weeks already since you called them for a box to send your broken xbox in. and if you dont receive your xbox by saturday you gotta wait til monday. thats almost a 3 week ordeal. so no you didnt get your new xbox within a week.

No I got the box 3 days after calling Microsoft and shipped it back to them with my 360 inside last Wednesday. And I got an email today saying that I should be receiving my repaired Xbox in 3 to 5 days. And I was also given a tracking number and when I go to UPS it definitely shows that it's on it's way back to me.
Mines took five days but I think thats because they are not repairing them but instead they are sending you a replacement one. I noticed that they change the serial number of my Xbox when they told me they was shipping back it to me.

I can't remember what my serial number is because I accidentally threw away the paper that I had written it down on. But I looked at the new serial number and it doesn't look the same as the old one. But I know my 360, so I will be able to tell if it is mine or a replacement one. I wouldn't even be mad if they sent me one with the HDMI port!
where do you live that it only took 2 weeks? I live in canada on the west coast and it took 2 months. I got impatient and bought an elite... (selling the 360 when it got back to me) which didn't help much because there were no elites anywhere in canada so I had to ask a friend in USA to buy an elite and ship it to me... so yeah... still ended up waiting.

I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They shipped it to Little Rock and then it was sent to somewhere in Texas. I don't know if it didn't take long to repair because I live so close or if they just sent me a replacement. Either way I'm super pumped at the moment.
