I don't think the PS3 price drop is going to stop people from buying 360's anyway so MS will wait as long as they can. Aren't they going to be losing 1 billion because of the 3 year warranty?Stealth-Gunner

yeah i think they said around 1 billion because of the 3 year warranty. and i dont think itll stop people from buying them either so its gonna be a while til the price goes down

Drop it a couple of hundred dollars? Haha yea that would be nice... MS is earning off every 360 sold unlike Sony, atleast that's what I've read. I'm pretty sure they want to keep it that way. And 'a couple hundred' is a bit much don't you think:P

Surely Microsoft could cut the price, they should be making a killing off XBox Live Arcade and Movie Rentals. That's almost like free money, and thus far Microsoft by far has the best online functionality and features. Couldn't they use it to subsidize hardware sales?

read the Q&A with microsofts shane kim...I read it earlier and I dont really remember much of it but he said there wasnt going to be any price cuts anytime soon. Plus i was talking to the owner of a game force and he said he doubts there'll be any price cuts for 360 for at least a year, because of the new 3 year warranty and everything.TD7007

haha, thats what i was thinking... i believe that they said, they made over 2 billion of software this or last year... plus all the money from consoles, overpriced accessories, and everything else they make, (computer games, comp software, ect.) i'm sure them losing 1 billion is like one of us losing 50 bucks
