I don't like it. Sorry to those of you who supported DRM, but I don't think the majority of consumers want that. Many Xbox owners across the world don't have access to fast or stable internet, and you can't just stampede over those people. Game consoles have always been seperate from PCs, in the sense that if you want to play a game on a console, you can just do it. Sure, an internet connection has many benefits, but consoles shouldn't make consumers connect.

So I hope that Xbox One doesn't do another U-turn and end up back on square one.

What do you think?

I think the people doing that are likely just trolling honestly. They might even be Sony fans trying to ruin it for the Xbox crowd.

I honestly think they are the xbox fanboys that are simply contrarians, they want to be against what is common place or popular and nothing more. "DRM is common? I hate it! DRM being removed? I want it back!"

Or they simply want to argue at why the xbox one is the ultimate gift from god handed down to man so they will desperately find anything they possibly can to argue that point no matter how stupid it is. So what they did is convince themselves all of those ungodly DRM policies were a good thing and now trying to argue for them.

Well it could be Sony fanboys or actual fans of DRM or could be MS employees starting the petition to make it seem like they were right all along. Who knows? If it is true fans tho, the. They are just plain dumb. They can have fun with their DRM restrictions, always on Internet crap. Also another hit to Xbox is mandatory installs. Seriously? What happens in a year or two and my HD full? It's not replaceable and don't tell me to delete the game. That's just dumb cause ill have to install it again when I want to play it. Just garbage all around and upsets me because I couldn't wait for the new Xbox to come out and I get a slap in the face.

Nah, most of them are trolls and dummies who doesn't know how to implement a correct DRM. The family share feature can be done without that crappy 24 hours checkin in the first place.magicalclick
That's not true. MS wouldn't have wanted the 24 hour check in if that were possible.... And the petition is for the family sharing thing for the most part, these people aren't pining for drm lol.

i really wished microsoft got there stuff together. all they had to do is make an improved interface....a system that has just as good of graphics as ps4. and a clean look to there console. they failed to do this. MIcorsoft missed out on allot of money
