I was really hoping Forza 3 was a 'better' racing game. Instead it looks like Forza 2 with more paint job and visual customization options... It isn't bad, don't get me wrong, and a lot of people want this type of 'pimp your Forza' cars type gameplay... but I want to race in leagues, have season modes, be able to take one or two cars or types I really love and have a lot of fun with it over the course of a long competitive season. I'm hoping they just didn't talk about all of that because everyone likes new paint... and went for the hype from that instead. But to me Forza 3 doesn't look like it will provide anything I want more of that Forza 2 didn't already offer.raahsnavjI get the impression that they have a new seasonal career mode, as one of the developers who posts on NeoGaf was talking about being able to play through career mode in a car (or cars) of your choice with randomized championships, and the game 'learning' which courses you prefer and tailoring the races to that.
"pumped" is such a douchebaggy word.skinnypete91
...says the guy who pops into a thread to critique word usage. You must lead a lonely life my cranky friend.
But back on topic...Forza 3 has got me rediculously PUMPED! I couldn't get enough of 2 and I am just hoping that the upgrades will be a little more flexible in regards to engine swaps and bolt-on parts. The car list already has me jazzed along with some actual painful looking crashes.
Also, did anybody see the tire deformation in the preview video? When the GT is taking a left turn it slows down and shows the tire...WOW! I thought the tire physics couldn't get better than Forza 2...maybe we'll even be able to pop bald tires now too? I'm crossing my fingers that this game lives up to everything I hope it will.
I'm **** + that cinimatic editor showed me the damage physics and i like not to grids standard but i don't want to race an ugly car
alot of ps3 fans didnt even give forza atry and say about gt great and fantastic . so ps3 fans give forza atry and then come and talk i played both of series like gt4 and gt5p and forza 2 and i liked forza more than gt and alot of people felt that too .

They did talk about improved physics and improved tire modeling(very important for realistic simulation), so I'm sure its gonna feel great to play.
But yea, it does seem very much like Forza 2, just cranked up, which to be honest, sounds amazing. Forza 2 was never the best looking game, and Forza 3 is aiming to change that. Forza 2 lacked tracks....Forza 3 is changing that. Inever reallywanted anything more. I mean, Forza 2 is easily still the best racing game out there on a console, and the bar is about to be raised again. I can see how you'd want some more single-player features, but sometimes, there'ssimply a limit on what they can do with the time they have, and no doubt they wanted to put a lot of effort into the multiplayer aspect as well, as they arevery big onhaving a great community.
Also, I've got some information that is very likely to be inside info about the game. I, of course, cant confirm that its from a Turn 10 employee, but many people have told me he is, and he certainly knows what he's talking about. He's either one of the best BS'ers I've come across or he's the real deal. Anyways, here's some things he says about the game that might indeed be good(credible) information:

Circuit de la Sarthe is a new track(the Le Mans track), and Fujimi Kaido returns from Forza 1.
All cars can be painted now(you couldn't paint race cars before).
There will be an option which automatically builds a car to a certain PI for you, with you picking the base characteristic(speed -> grip). This option is aimed at making the game more accessible for newcomers looking to build a competitive car.
Some things that we WONT see due to deadline restraints:
Weather
Night/day
Active aero (again!)
Widebody kits with 12 inch wheels
Some really cool driver animations
Some digital gauge animations
Custom underbodies (with rollover comes undercarriage modeling - unfortunately, all the cars use a generic layouts, so sometimes they are wrong; like the Lamborghinis have the transmission rearward of the engine instead of infront, etc.)
Super high level of detail car models in replays (Currently the super high detailed models are used in the UI homespace/garage, thumbnails, livery editor, and photo mode).
No exposed suspension cars like Ariel Atoms, Lotus 340Rs or Caterhams, even though T10 owns PGR and they had the tech to model working suspensions.
Now again, please take all of this with a grain of salt as it may not be accurate. But if indeed it is, you might be one of the earliest to know about these.
I'm sure it goes both ways.alot of ps3 fans didnt even give forza atry and say about gt great and fantastic . so ps3 fans give forza atry and then come and talk i played both of series like gt4 and gt5p and forza 2 and i liked forza more than gt and alot of people felt that too .

I think many of us Forza players grew up playing GT, though, so its not as if that series is foreign to us or anything.
And yea, maybe there are some Forza players who picked up GT5 and liked it better.
I sure haven't met one yet, though!
