Okay, so I am having a bit of paranoia with my 360 right now. The thing is that I am asking for a new Ps3 for my bday, so if my xbox breaks, I am pretty much sol. It's been making a slight clicking noise consistently while I play Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Just wondering if that is normal. It's not like insane or anything, just this sort of slight clicking noise while I play. Just so we have all the facts, I did buy it used, and it is a little damaged, so it might just be having trouble reading the disc. Is it normal?

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to hear a clicking noise... Didn't you get warranty with it, even though it was used?

There isn't anything normal regarding hearing a clicking noise of any kind. If you have the space, try installing your games to the HD from now on.

My xbox makes more noise then a baby crying it aint normal. ( i dont know anybetter since i already have it 1 year )
But when i play at a xbox elite or ps3 its just a miracle how quiet they are.
Dont know about ur situation, but it can be that ur disk has a hard time reading the CD's and that it takes alot of effort to keep em running.

Alot of xboxs make different noises, yours is probably about to break... mine got the red rings a year and a half ago and they repaired it for free and added an extra heatsink, but now it's been making a whirring noise and is loud
