So what do yall think of Shadowrun?

I'm buying it this tuesday & I wanted to know who else is also gonna check it out. Do yall think it's gonna suck or is it gonna be a keeper? To me, it seems to be the only good shooter coming out till at least September so I reserved it. I'm trading Prey, F.E.A.R. & Condemned for it & that just covers 1/2 of the price. I finished those few titles a while back & they weren't amusing enough to beat twice. What's your input gamers? Am I screwing myself? Are yall even looking foward to this game?

Well, since it's pretty much an online only title, (no single player campaign), it's only going to be worth owning if lots of people play it, (and I think it'll have to be pretty good to tear people away from R6 & Gears & even moreso in September when H3 hits). And since The Darkness comes out in June & has offline & online modes, (with really unique online modes), I think I'll go with that instead. ColoradoKindBud

Speaking of modes, three of the four will be familiar to shooter veterans. Deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag should all be self explanatory, while survivor is The Darkness' take on a familiar formula. Everyone starts as a human apart from one player, whose job it is to kill the humans and turn them into darklings--the last human alive wins the match. The other version of survivor is similar in that every player but one is a darkling, and the single human is the only player who can score points. Therefore, the idea is to kill the human to become one yourself, and then attempt to score by eliminating other darklings.

thats the only problem i have with shadowrun but still i did love counterstrike so i'm not sure if i should get it

I think its a game made by people who make games.

Some people will buy it
Some people won't
Some people will say that it is good, or maybe the best online game ever
Some people won't like it at all

At the end of the day, do what you want, don't worry about others opinions because you'll only end up doing what others want you to do...

Aaah! I forgot about the darkness. That game looks freakin sweet!

I was in the beta for shadowrun i did not like it one bit....yes its like counterstrike but C.S is way better the magic is coo and stuff but still i did not like the game at all. there are Way better fps out there R6 and like i said in my opinon its not a good game samandari
