first and foremost, you are in the wrong board for this thread.
secondly, i havent had good experiences with them
I usually buy games from them because i happen to be very cheap and i like their selection of used games. I recently got my 360 last week, and i bought GRAW for 14 bucks, which was well worth the money, absolutely love them
I've had good experiences at gamestop, everyone who complains either has a REALLY bad gamestop or are stupid and either A. don't understand the ship/street date deal or B. don't understand the buisnees of the used and trade games thingFlawlessSeasons
The staff blows. Used to like it as a kid but over the past 10 years that one has really gone down thecr*pper. Either the management or regional director should be canned. I know I'm not the stupid one since all of their 40 year old virgin employees are highschool droppouts whereas I'm a college grad. I'm sure that all are not like it but the one by me is terrible. If they replaced the staff I'd love it again. And I think they are the one's that don't understand A or B, LOL!
screw gamestop gamecrazy on newyork is way better.. there employees loe to help.. are funny.. easy to get things done with.. and dont try to make you buy something after you tell them im here to lookCharlyMurphy
LMFAO!!!
But not to what you said, it's your signature! ROFL!!!
Eb/Gamestop have their ups and downs for different things.
I'm not a huge fan of buying games at EB/Gamespot. Twice I've pre ordered, and both times, they didn't have a copy to give me when I showed up a few days later. Great. What's the point of pre ordering? I also don't like paying full price for an opened game. I understand thats store policy and the game is still "new" but the last "new" game I payed for had a small scratch on it. Didn't affect the playability, but still. Games are damn near 80 bucks in Canada and I don't want a game with a scratch on it. Also, it bothers me that they'll give people 7 bucks for a used game and turn around and sell it for 2-3 times that. I know thats the business, but I still think it's shady. I never sell games. Like I'm going to take 10 bucks for a game I paid 78 dollars for a few months ago. Although I do like their disc protection fee. My first 360 chewed up some discs and EB replaced them all. But then again, I really hate getting harassed to pre order or buy the used version (usually scratched with a torn manual) for 7 bucks less than a new one. Great its like getting 11 chewed up games for the price of 10 new ones....
I do like all there hardware deals though. They're always super friendly about replacing faulty hardware no questions asked.
when I buy a game for $60...I want it to be new in the box sealed...I dont want it to be "new" with a scratch on it. Gamestop has some of the worst employes I've ever seen...They constantly act like they are doing you a huge favor by looking up a game or trying to find a box. And if they ask you to reserve a game, and you refuse!? Forget it...they get all pissy on you. Sometimes I think random hobos off the street would be a better fit then these idiots that they found. Like do people like this actually exist? I HATE GAMESTOP/EBGAMES
