so what exactly is so bad about blue dragon?

i was thinkin of pickin this game up soon since i can get it for about $20-25

it seems like a game id enjoy since i favor jrpg's and from what ive seen and read

u tell me why i should not get this game?

Nothing is wrong with this game, in many respects it is better then lost odyssey.

The main reason I love this game is due to a proper world map like the PS-one FF games

The story and characters and dialog aren't very good. Regardless I had a lot of fun with it and slightly ashamed to say I enjoyed it enough to do 1000/1000 on achievements :P

I recommend playing it on Hard though, the default difficulty is pretty easy.

Damn.. your oonly the 2nd person ive seen with 1000 on blue dragon, congrats, thats pretty hard to get imo.

Yes, it's a very simple JRPG, yes Maru is extremely annoying, and yes, the boss music is hilariously cheesy, but that's basically it.

I found it a lot of fun to play.

Okay, the minigames are AWFUL, but you won't hate them unless you really love achievements. And they're a relatively small part of the game.
