Absolutely worth it. It has some pretty neat gameplay mechanics and a truly compelling story.
Plus great voice acting... you might find yourself talking like Jackie fxxxin' Estacado for weeks. I did!
The game came out and that was it. No one talked about it or anything. How was it? Ive never played it but i can get it brand new for under 20 dollars. Worth the buy? no-scoped_jfk
It's worth $20. No one's talking about it now because it's 7 months old, and dozens of games have come out that are better. Pretty good reason, wouldn't you say?
WARNING!!!!!!!... Don't buy that game.. even for 20 bucks.. I would highly recommend you just rent it, even just for achievements just rent it.. it gets boring REALLY fast the online is terrible once you beat the game, you won't have much else to do with it, that is why you can get it so cheap.. its not worth buying, just rent itTrogetonAgreed totally, not a lot of replay value in The Darkness, I would recommend renting it first as well. But it does have some pretty interesting concepts and I highly recommend trying it out.

What a coincidence because I was looking to get this game too, off of Ebay. I read the review and saw the HD trailer and it looks amazing, great story, but I couldnt make up my mind. I knew of an ebay seller that was offering $25 + 3.50 shipping but I didnt want it at the time. After reading the posters on your thread, great comments by everyone btw, I decided that I would get it because $25 for a game like this is a steal! I went back to check the auction and the price dropped to $19.99! And this is brand new factory sealed. I said wth, and purchased. So I'm excited about this one, for $20 brotha, you cant go wrong. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Have fun, thanks for reading. :D
P.S. It would cost us like at least $5-8 bucks to rent. Pay $15-12 more and we got ourselves a game. What's $12-15 bucks to ya anyways. I say go for it.
