Assassins creed and CoD4 right now I think mass effect will be when it comes out. I think it will be a much bigger hit than people are thinking.

Well obviously it won't get a ten, that rarely happens on Gamespot. Probably a 9.5 still higher but not by much. Anyway, Mass Effect is going to blow every other gameout of the water. Why can't you accept the fact its gonna be an awesome game? It's alreadyrecieved great reviews.

yea and assassin's creed got mediocre reviews from other sites...yet GS gave it a 9...so basically all sites have different opinions....sorry not a valid arguementZ-Bombz

I was gonna get AC today but the release got pushed back. I do however have my copy of mass effect :P , now just to finish work....

I was gonna get AC today but the release got pushed back. I do however have my copy of mass effect :P , now just to finish work....

Im not going to accept the fact that ME will be great...I mean how can I take a game seriously when its another sci-fi adventure with seth green? besides all the hype for this game on this forum gets annoying...its not even out yetZ-Bombz

Personally, I was not too interested in Mass Effect a few days ago, but some of the screen shots I have seen, and the video or two I watched a while ago are starting to make me reconsider....

Not going to pre-order it, but if they have copies at my Best-Buy I'll definately get one.

As for Assassin's Creed.... I am planning on renting it on Friday the 16, playing it for about 3 days and then returning it so I can play Mass Effect (Or maybe I'll rent that too...)

Sorry to those of you who really like Assassin's Creed, I can see why, but being 15 and sadly not having a job puts me in a tight position, and buying games that don't look very replayable just seems dumb to me.. like I said though, if I was Mr. Moneybags I'd go shell out 60 bucks for a copy of "AC"

Also, I only prayed to God that Assassin's Creed flopped, and IGN called it one of the greatest dissapointments in recent memory, so I was all happy about that.. I hope all you people that hate Mass Effect get a rush like that as well...

Lol, back off Mass effects nuts for a few minutes man, u havent even played it. And as far as your "It got great reviews" thing, Halo 3 got praised as the best game ever, and it was mediocre.

After going over to the ME boards for the passed couple of days. It seems like it's not living up to the hype, the same was for AC. but AC is an amazing game. I'm kind of disapointed in the fact that ME was said to be around 40+ hours... but from what I hear its like 20 hours. And the sidequests arent very good. I guess I'll find all of this out when I pick up my copy next week with Rock Band!
