So which is better? Guitar Heros

ok, so im finally plannin to get a guitar hero set for myself.. just wondering, which is better or is there any difference? since u can download from DLC.

When I had a ps3 I had world tour.It had a good variety of music and different genere's of music.

I like 2 the best - I don't really like what Neversoft did to the series.

I agree with you, Guitar Hero basically ripped of rock band. Its called GUITAR HERO for a reason. but oh well.

Anyways out of the games you can get on the 360 I would get world tour, it is fun

I did the same thing i got 2 then bought 3, my brother had rock band that was awesome looking, looked at Rockband2 and World Tour and decided RB2 is my best bet. and it was because i borrowed GHWT from a friend and i didnt like it at all. Im very happy with my decision on RB2

World Tour is the best as a solo game, or a band game.

I also agree that the Guitar Hero franchise has gone down since GH2. I remember playing number 3 and thinking "Thanks for ruining this game, guys". I've gone over to Rock Band and never looked back.

I started playing the first Guitar Hero at a friend's house like once every few weeks. Then I totally got into Guitar Hero 2 with some other friends. I FINALLY bought Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii, and I think it is the best in the whole series. World Tour is still amazing, but if you are looking for harder difficulty, the third one is the way to go.

In my opinion, this is the difficulty of the Guitar Hero series games

Guitar Hero: easiest

Guitar Hero 2: fairly easy; some difficult songs (Primus anyone)

Guitar Hero 3: hardest of the series in my opinion; not just because of Dragonforce either

Guitar Hero Aerosmith: not too hard

Guitar Hero World Tour: not too hard, but some DLC can be difficult; depends on what instrument you choose

Guitar Hero Metallica: can be very hard.

Again this is just my opinion, I can complete Through the Fire and Flames on Expert up to 80%, so thats a good judge of my skill. I don't know what difficulty you play on, but I hope this helps! I wish I could say something about Rock Band but I don't ever play it and won't judge.

If anything you should get Rock Band 2. It has the best setlist and hundreds on DLC songs.
