so.....i won a "Connect and Win GTA4 Prize Pack"

i got an email as ive seen others have and i won this:

"The Daily Prize is a Grand Theft Auto IV Prize Pack which includes the following items: Statue of Happiness, GTA IV Baseball Bat, GTA IV Dartboard and Darts, Niko License Plate and GTA IV T-shirt. "

first of all....i guess...."yay"? i dunno, i saw all the other prizes and man is this one lame. when i saw gta4 prize pack i thought "sweet! i dont have gta4!!"....and then as it turns out, i dont even get the game! the other prizes are at least xbox related like 4k ms points, fallout 3, etc etc. what the heck....a gta4 baseball bat????

anyone else win anything from this contest? it was one of those things on the dashboard that you register for free.

i dunno....im not really complaining about the fact that i won something. i guess im just complaining because i feel like im getting the equivalent of like visiting the Microsoft/HP/Dell or whatever headquarters, and when they say they are giving out prizes to people...and all i get a microsoft stress ball. yeah. rockstar is this mountain of money, and they cant even give a $20 game away? heck, i wouldve taken gta 1...the original....over this crap.

WINNING something is free, and it's great. Especially if the prize has some amount of value. Rockstar throwing away promotional items in the form of a 'prize giveaway', because they were too lame to put in with the other corporate-retreat "loot bag" crap... EXACTLY!!!! this stuff is really crap. free doesn't always mean cool. if i got the game...even if i already had it (like the other prizes of fallout 3...already have that game) i could at least sell it, or give it to a friend. this crap though, i cant even GIVE away. but you are 100% correct, its just cool because i won, but not because its good.

I won the baseball bat a couple of months ago from an Xbox Live contest... it isn't crap... just like any other aluminum bat... apart from the fact that it is cooler because it says Grand Theft Auto IV on the side :)
