Examples like the snow storm and the 3 leaf clover mission at the part where you have to escape from the cops with a 3 star wantel level. I just feel like using remove wanted level cheatcode. I just wanna something. I unlocked the one man's army acheivement already. So can i use the remove wanted level cheat-code? Will it relock the acheivement?

TBH the SP aspect of GTAIV is really boring, I havent even completed it yet, not because missions are too hard, but because they are boring. - MP is alright, but gets boring after a while too.

Use a corner of a building for cover and do targetted shots quickly on your enemies. The faster you take them out the faster you can move onto the next area, and so you spend less time getting shot. Three Leaf Clover requires you to do quite a lot before you even get the message about escaping the wanted level, so using cheats wont help you much there.

Cheats aren't necessary to complete the game. I have 100% completion with no cheats used. Though I do have a few failed missions (Three Leaf Clover, Snow Storm, the one in the museum, and the final mission)

Practice makes perfect. To cheer you up I can say that GTA IV is much easier than GTA III, Vice City or San Andreas.

Make sure you have body armor when you start the missions. Many of the longer missions have health and armor lying around so make sure you're finding those and picking them up. When the cops show up don't stick around, the longer you have a wanted level the harder it will be to loose it.

Correct. Keep at the missions, you soon learn the correct way to proceed.

Snow storm wasnt too bad. I goofed my first time, thought the wanted level was larger area. So tried to exit my car to run down to the subways, cops smashed my car into me and killed me.

Ended up easily finishing the mission with an ambulance.

I found most of the missions in GTA IV to be to repetitive for my taste. The game has a good story but lacks creativity in mission structure. So yes, I agree that many of the missions in GTA IV are frustrating.

It's funny how people complain about Three Leaf Clover, I finished it at my first attempt. As for Snow Storm, that's a whole different story...I did that mission some 7 times until I tried something different and suceeded. What you have to do is when N.O.O.S.E is raiding the building, kill the first 3 or 4, and exit the building.Run to your right and jump. You'll land on a speedboat and you can run away safely.

A word of advice: always buy bullet proof armor at the stores before any mission and\or be aware for life boosts and armor boosts lying around during missions.

Add me.

Me too. The hardest mission IMO was *Spoiler* when you had to pick up the coke for Elizebeta at the old hospital. I hated it.

Speaking of losing wanted levels - that "Walk Free Lose a 4 star wanted rating by outrunning the cops". For a while was taking it literal - walk/run away with no vehicle help. Pain the butt, so many times so close to getting away too. Finally found out could use a car and it was a piece of cake.

Will it relock the acheivement?sivasiva

Let me ask you this: how do you re-lock an achievement? You've already gotten it, haven't you?

Yeah, once you unlock an achievment, you have it. You're free to use cheats once you've unlocked all the ones that the cheats block.

I didn't find any missions in the game to be extremely hard. Three Leaf Clover took me two tries... and I almost finished it the first time, but the cops blew me up as I was getting off the bridge right at the end. There was no mission in GTA IV like that helicopter mission in SA... the notoriously hard mission in IV is Three Leaf Clover, and it's really not as difficult as people make it out to be. The worst part is not getting blown up once you get in a car... but if you're a decent driver it's not difficult at all.

But is it fair to use cheat codes? Does it defeat the purpose pf playing the game fairly?

The bank robbery mission was easy for me, I had full health and armour and beat it first try.
