I got my HDTV and its native resolution is 720p so should i have my 360, HD DVD player and cable box at 720p or 1080i and also is there a remote that can control my TV, comcast cable box, 360, 360 HD DVD player, and surround sound system? thanks

Harmony universal remote. Works magic. And yes, set it to 720p.

Set it to 720p, it will look the best on your hardware. non-native resolutions will always look slightly worse even if they are a higher resolution. Logitech's Harmony line are the gods of remote controls. They're expensive, but they'll control your tv, cable box, audio setup, and even your 360 (and I can almost promise you it would work with your HD-DVD drive but I've never seen it tested).

though it can run at both put it at 720p because output would be specifically for 720p, thus built for a 720p tv.
