Do they have it in their achievement games list? Or do you see them playing it via the dashboard, and it's just the boxart. Cause if thats the case, it might be the demo..

A store could have simply sold it to them early on accident. When pure first came out I had it several days before launch. It was just on the shelf at an eb games store and they let me have it.
No, this guy has always got new games over a week before they're released. Batman AA is in his achievement list. So far he's unlocked 6 achievements totaling 50 gamerpoints. Four achievements are secret achievements, the other two are for freeflow combo 5 and freeflow combo 10. If you look at his achievement list it looks like he's played every 360 game there is. He hasn't played them much, though. He's hardly unlocked any achievements for them. It looks like he spends more time downloading games than actually playing them. I asked him before how he gets these games early. He said he knows someone who works at an online retailer and he gets free demos. We all know demos don't have achievements or show up in your list of played games so that can't be true.
I've just found another guy playing it! His gamertag is Neo Supreme. He isn't one of my friends, just came across it. I wonder if Neo Supreme knows someone who works for an online retailer too? Lol.

That's so lame! Why don't my stores do that! Another guy picked up Wolfenstein last Friday at his Target because they were selling it already and I know another guy that got Mass Effect a week early because his K-Mart had it for sale... I want my stores to be that dumb too!!!
well if he lives in china he has a great chance of getting it early. when i used to live there 1 yr ago pirated games were the only way to get games. Either that or wait till my dad goes to singapore to buy original games always priced at 60USD...so you get the idea of why ppl get pirated copies.
when halo 3 came out in sept. 2007, i actually got the game week and 1/2 early and beat the campaign 5 days b4 the official release. China is a whole mess of pirating. luckily in china i never had xboxlive so no one could detect it. but i use a new gamrtag now (or do i?????????)
Yea I have it sitting here on my entertainment center (i'm the guy who posted yesterday, got it yesterday at wal mart). I have heard of people getting banned for playing things pre release, I will probaby start playing monday night and stay off of live until 12:01. It is tempting though.... Good thing shadow complex is so awesome!
this isn't new... if you live in a decent city where you have mom and pop shops that sell games, they usually let the games go on for sale days maybe even weeks before they come out... I could've gotten Arkham Asylum today because a bunch of stores in NYC have it already, but I have to go to a party tonight and payed to go see Inglorious Basterds and District 9 last night... so no Batman for me til next thursday
It happen's far too often I knew a guy who had Gears 2 a week before it came out but he got banned and his 360 blocked from connecting to XBL.

Wow, i didn't even know they did that. Why do they penalize people for having the game early? I don't understand.

File complaints, are you serious? Why? I know many people who call actions like that "snitching". When I was in elementary school, the teachers called it being a tattle-tale. But honestly, I don't see what the problem is with selling the game before the release date. Am i missing something??
