songs i bought from itunes dont play on the 360

now ive known about this for quite sometime but when i plug in my music the only music that will pop up is the ones i burnt onto my ipod via cd.
all my other songs go unnoticed, this is due to the fact microsoft hasent signed some agreement with itunes but thats not the point.
the point is i pay for my music and i cant use it anywhere! yet i could easily download limewire and could listen to my music anywhere i wanted to.
if they want people to stop downloading for free why do this?

Yeah, read about this somewhere not too long ago. iPods are compatible with the 360, but only songs you didn't buy through iTunes, so only ripped CDs/other downloaded songs will work. I'd think the only option is to get hold of some software that converts itunes AAC into a more universal format?

That's one of the reasons I stay away from iPods.

Under the updates section on Live there is a media update that allows the Xbox 360 to play AAC files. It was only released a few weeks ago here in the UK, but I wouldn't know in the States, but I would definitely look that up...
