Well I'm definately 1 of them
I owned a Ps1 and Ps2 and never thought of buying an xbox.
The reason i turned away from sony in this gen was the delayed realse of ps3, the ridiculas price, lack of games, no vibration in controller, all the blueray s***.
But even though i love my xbox 360 there are still some games i'd love to come from playstation over to xbox for example- tekken, does anyone think that it will be a cross platform game this gen?
if it is ill cream myself :D
so discuss how you was converted from sony to xbox

[QUOTE="khaled7"]I owned a ps2 and bought the 360 and will not buy the ps3 because of it;s high pricenjdss4Same here. I'll never spend more than $300 on a console. I had both PS2 and Xbox last gen. I agree on the price thing, if you get in to spending big money you may aswell get a half-decent pc. I would have liked both consoles, but I can't see the PS3 getting cheap enough to buy as a second console and it sure as hell doesn't come near the 360 for the top spot in my house. All the games I want are on 360. Damn that blueray for pushing the price up.
Well I'm definately 1 of themYep, same with me. PS1-PS2-360. I used to be PS3 all the way, then E3 changed all that...

This topic will probably get locked soon, but I'll bite.
I ended up with a PS1 because my brother had one and he gave it to me. It had a mod chip installed in it so I'm like, "Why not?" -- liked Final Fantasy VII, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and a few other games. More or less stopped playing consoles, went to PC gaming... then I played GTA III over my cousin's house around Thanksgiving and went out and bought a PS2 shortly thereafter... the same evening I met my fiancee, actually. Bought a Gamecube when I found out I could have a disc that had the first two Zelda games plus Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask for it... bought an Xbox later on, but ended up selling it because I didn't play it enough (most of the games were available on PS2 anyhow, so Morrowind was my only real loss -- and I played that too much).
I was going to pre-order a 360, wasn't impressed with the launch, so I was going to put the cash from selling my Xbox on a PS3 pre-order. That ended up getting delayed and would've cost me a mint. By that time, 360 was hitting its stride. Bought one with a copy of Oblivion and Fight Night Round 3. I probably won't get a PS3 because of the same reason I didn't get much out of my Xbox 1... too similar to a system I already have. Sony would have to come up with an amazing exclusive and even then I doubt it. I don't hate Sony though... I picked up a PSP a few weeks ago to have Lumines on-the-go, not to mention Ape Escape. Installed some custom firmware on it and I've got Final Fantasy VII now too.
I had a PSone, Gamecube, PS2, PSP, DS and was very looking forward to the PS3. I still have it but yet to open it because I'm pretty disappointed. There are no games out at the moment that make me wanna open this thing. I have a 360 for this next gen and I'll probably end up buying a PS3 sometime later this year when I come back from my 2 month trip out of the country. I love my Playstation games and all but 360 is a great system. It has alot more different type of games now compared to the original xbox. It had a couple of good games but I didn't like it. It had alot of FPS but thats about it. Sony had everything else! But now 360 getting some of that. I'm pretty much being half converted.
I think DoA is better than Tekken... The games are the main reason I love the 360. Also, I can stand Peter Moore's grin, but not that of the guys at Sony...Benny_is_here
It may look better but it doesn't play better. I hate the way they changed block from pressing back, it was a seriously bad move. Imagine if they swapped the move and look sticks around in a FPS and you'll know what I mean. Or am I the only one who instinctively presses back to block? lol
Tekken was my favourite fighter for a long time and was one of the reasons I didn't sell my PS2 when I got my Xbox. DOA doesn't come near IMO.

You probably bought the better of the two 360's and if you didn't then you probably bought modifications, so you most likely spent more than 300$.
I jumped the Sony ship and landed softly in MS´s arms last year.
It´s MS and Nintendo for me this gen. Mainly because there´s no games pulling me towards the ps3.
i dont know if i can say i love my videogame consoles. i just play what i can either afford at the time. PS3 imo is just way to much money for basically the same thing 360 offers minus a great online setup such as Live. the big arguement is that its free apparently, the PS3's online service is this still the case? i honestly care so little i havent been keeping up with the times. id be skeptical if it is free since they have to make money from somewhere to run it. idk just my opinionated .02.DesmondPillsIt's free, but you get what you pay for, it will never be as good as LIVE.
