I would much rather play a fighting game like soul calibur on the ps3. Playstation has the best D-pad ever made while X-box has one of the worst...fact. But if you can stand playing this game with a stick rather than a pad then yes I say you should get it!

its really fun, although the story mode is short the tower of lost souls mode makes up for it, and creating characters is fun in itself, and i personally prefer the stick to the dpad, its so much easier(for me) and isnt this the 360 board anyway?

the online is alright, but most of the time there are so many people that can pull of insane combos and stuff, but they have a good ranking system so you wont be playing the people that are already leveled up, it keeps you pretty even with other players

I've been playing this game solo/single-player since its release (with exception of a few days) and I have yet to play vs anyone or online. Its just as fun as the previous SC games. However, it would have been nice to see Chronicles of the Sword show up this time around too...oh well.

Its worth renting if you just want to play offline, or if you're like me and are able to enjoy fighters by yourself then I'd suggest to buy it.

the story mode is very short but it got alot of replayability since all the characters have different endings and you can unlock stuff by playing the story mode. The online mode is decent.

I think it's the best fighter ever made to date. If you're craving a fighter, I'd do it. Street Fighter and Tekken are still ways off. These are the only 3 fighters that matter to me.

About the game though, I've dropped about 60 hours into it already unlocking everything. I really haven't touched too much of the Online either. I have been playing VS with some friends though. It's well worth it, I'm still addicted and definitely going to 100% the achievements. Then after that, it's worth keeping it around just for online matches when I get the urge.

Only if you don't get frustrated easily by playing other people in fighting games.

I don't know what it is about fighting games that gets me so pissed, but they definitely do.

I broke my 360 controller last week after losing 4 matches in a row online and spiking my controller to the ground.
