Special points offer from Visa??

I was browsing the Dashboard last night and I saw an ad for Visa giving away 300 points if you used a Visa card to buy 2000 points or more. So... I click the link and use my Visa card to buy the 2000 points, but I haven't seen any bonus points yet.

Did I miss some fine print stating that the points take a certain amount of time to be put in my account? Can anyone log on to Xbox Live and check this out? (if you are interested in the deal...)

Oops... sorry about the unnecessary bump. Thanks for the reply. I think you're right. I guess my only concern is that I used my Visa Debit Card even though it said "Use your Visa Credit Card to purchase...".

I hope a debit card works, lol.

Always does, a debit card can be run as a credit card, the money will just be taken out right away. If it was run as debit, MS would need you to enter your pin.

I'm curious to see how long it takes, I'll stack up on some points to get free arcade games. Not like I wont use the points anyway. I love XBLA.

I haven't received mine yet either, but I did get the picture pack. I'm patient though, I have no immediate need for the 300 points. Also, they said this is a one time offer, so you can't use it more than once.

I downloaded the pictures, then, thinking it best, I deleted the pack figuring I would save my money instead. Then I decided aw what the heck and was going to get them, and that Visa tab was no longer on my 360. It's kaput. Nowhere man. Gone. Well, I still bought 2000 points, and i did download the picture pack once before deleting it, and the offer just said "any 2000 points bought in the month of September with a VISA card", so perhaps I will still get my bonus 300 points.

Oh... and another thing... I saw the offer again on my dashboard last night.

No points for me yet and it has been 2 weeks for me.
