Spending Gamer-Points online... would you?

Its hard to say if turning achievement points into a form of currency would work well.... it probably wouldnt.
But if you COULD, would you use your points to buy DLC and add-ons if, lets say an achievement point was worth half as much as a MS gamer point online.

Would you be willing to drop your nerd score 1600pts for an 800pt (10$) DLC?

since i have almost 30,000 gamerscore i would def. drop it for some M$ points

i wouldn't mind dropping G's for MP if i was adding DLC like the ones that could help me get more G's

I would use some of it but not all my gamer points, can't ever see this happening though. So many people will use glitches and hacks to raise their gamerscore.mccloskey-14

It would be nice if there was a feature that allowed each game to at least have 1 or 2 achievements that reward you with microsoft points. Not a big amount, maybe something small like 50 microsoft points per achievement.

i dont get what people dont understand about a corporation like microsoft. Their goal is to MAKE MONEY! why would they introduce a feature that gives us stuff for free? Think about what they charge us for DLC. Do you really think they have the customer in mind?

True, it would make Xbox more attractive over PS3 if you could earn points just by playing games,I don't see why they don't. I have about 12,000 gamer points at the moment,that took me ages to get, what if that amount of points allowed me a $12 discount, granted that would pay for some DLC'S entirely, but it took me over a year to earn those points, surely you would buy a lot more then that during the year. then again... It's microsoft, if we held our breath for a 2 cent discount we'd all suffocate.

Well, I don't think many developers would put there DLC online, because they won't earn any money with it. Same as full priced games (the 2400 MSP ones). But using it for stuff like gamerpictures and themes sounds fair.

Hell yeah, my 74,000 points really mean nothing to me.

Say 1000 Gamerpoints = $10 (800 MS Points) I would DEFINATELY do that, and I think it would make people want to buy/rent and play and 100% accomplish games.
