It's all about taste of genre. On one hand you got an action/advention game in Spiderman 3. On the other you have an RPG in Oblivion. I hate RPG's and i can personally recommend SM3, good game with good playback value.
While it's a matter of taste whether or not you like RPG's, what's a good/bad game is important (and lessa matter of taste!). SM3 is a game that's getting bad reviews across the board. Oblivion is still near the top of what the 360 has to offer, and nobody will say that about SM3. Thing is, even if you don't usually like RPG's the graphics, melee action, story and very long campaign of Oblivion might make it the first RPG you'll like. As far as SM3 having "more to do," you can easily put more than 100 hours of gameplay into Oblivion before finishing the main quest.Â

Agreed (well maybe not the shooting part!), Oblivion is timeless and classic. SM3's a movie game, and not a very good one. The sort of thing that will end up in a bargain bin, if there's any justice.
Yeah, it's down to personal taste. If you like Spiderman, maybe get SM3, but Oblivion is a far better game. You could always rent the games, or try the SM3 demo (if there is one?).
 Oblivion by far. Its the only game that I wouldnt have any trouble paying 100 dollars for, thats how much there is to do. Spiderman 3 was decent, but nowhere near Oblivion.
Spiderman 3 is rated like a 6.6 and oblivion is rated 9.6. Thats a big differenceMVfalcons83
I personally don't trust on the way GameSpot rate videogames sometimes.I have played many games in my 24 yrs old life that are very good and got bad reviews.So,it's all a matter of preferences and tastes.
