I liked Web of Shadows a lot too, hopefully they'll improve on that combat style in this game. I don't really like the look of the regular spider-man in this game, but that's a minor complaint. I'll keep this one on my radar.
I'm definitely NOT looking forward to it, because Spider Man games stop being fun some time ago. They need to reinvent it some way, and that's just not gonna happen sadly. So I'll pass on the excitement for it.
That's a big yes from me. I loved the noir comic series and I am happy to see it come to motion. As for the AMAZING universe, I am glad they did spidey justice with it's graphics and unique gameplay.

You can possibly play as 8 different spidermen. If you pre-order the game, you get the captain universe skin, which will vary it's look depending on what universe you are playing the game in. And there are 4 universes.
The player will be able to control four versions of Spider-Man, including the mainstream 616 version and the Marvel Noir version. Furthermore, each character will be played differently. For example, the Amazing Version is implied to play very similarly to past Spider-Man games, whereas the Noir is very heavily stealth focused. GameStop put up an image long enough to get grabbed by the Internet that revealed some of the upcoming Cosmic Spider-Man DLC as a costume swap.
