i havent played bioshock yet.. but from what i've read/ seen of it.. i dont think it should've won IMO. COD4 did a GREAT job creating a realistic modern day shooter.. and Mass Effect is a definately the RPG that i've been waiting for.
Bioshock surely was a 'new idea' but it doesnt have that 'big game' 'i want it' feeling..
Well COD4 got love, it won Best military shooter AND best First person Shooter over Halo3. But Bioshock did deserve the win, it created an atmosphere that was simply amazing, creative, and downright fun. Something a lot of games lack these days. I play a LOT of COD4 on my PS3, but Bioshock was definately a more creative game. Although COD4 and Halo3 both were awesome, Bioshock retained their own style and didnt follow the pack, i like that they won.
BioShock Doesnt deserve game of the year.. It was A Fun game but after i beat it icouldnt even look at it without getting bored. Definatly Should Of been CoD4

I don't think anyone takes those awards seriously.
I think we will take it as serious as any other VGA. I mean how serious can we take a video game award. Most of us have already bought and beaten our faves by the time the award comes out and we have decided already what our fave game of the year was.

who cares about award shows or what is game of the year. its just really like a magazine review made fancy.
some people really take thigns like this to heart like they made the game. who cares if other people have different opionions on which was the best game , theys no right answers just opionions
shows like that dont really intrest me i just like what games i like dont really need someone to tell me if its a good game ill just make me own mind up, reviews only really intrest me before i get a game not after they pointless coz ya never going to agree with everyone ya see but bit daft moaning about games not getting the awards not like it makes any difference what so ever. its how many they sell that makes the differnce if top games making a come back with another release
The Spike TV Video Game Awards, that aired today, was beyond horrible. So really who cares who won.

Thank you, I mean Hiedi and Spencer from MTV? It was like a **** celebrities that had nothing to do at all with gaming. I hope some one nudges in nex year and sets spike straight.
