This could be one of the best games this year, yes its coming out Christmas. Its going in a new direction game-play wise, no more hiding in the shadows waiting. This time your on the run, you have to blend into the crowds and act normal otherwise people will alert the police. This time there are no gadgets, you use objects in the environment chairs, tables etc.. and use them in different ways eg hit someone, block a door its up to you, sounds good huh, oh yeah.
It worries me that Ubisoft releases these Splinter Cell sequels so hastily. Don't get me wrong, I love the series and have enjoyed every entry in it (even if I felt that Double Agent was probably the weakest yet), but they all turn out to be overwhelmingly similar. I'd like to see them devote a good two years to make a new, fresh and innovative games to sort of liven up the series, rather than adding small additions to a really strong core. I guess I can't really blame them for it as these games sell like hotcakes, but I'm just hoping. I see this game, even with its new features, being pretty similar to the Splinter Cell experience.
I think the series has gotten way to "out there", Chaos theory got great reviews and many regard it has the best splinter cell game. Who the heck said "you know what I know the series is getting better and better but lets shake things up"? Will I buy this game? Yes, but if they don't get back on track after this one (finish the da story) and return to the good old days then I will not be buying any future splinter cell games.            Just my two cents
