Splinter Cell Conviction VS Hitman 5 (Both Release Time Is 2009)
WhatsYour Idea , Which one could be Better ?
I'll go with Hitman. I really tried but I just don't like Splinter Cell or any Tom Clancy game.
It would be nice if I did though, there are a lot of high rated games out there.
Opposite of above poster I love splinter cell and all tom clancy games...so conviction would be a def. pickup.

splinter cell
the hitman games are fun but they are all way to repetitive
One of hitman problem is that it's Story not Told too good
I've always been a fan of both series. As far as Hitman beingrepetitive- I have to disagree on that one. There are multiple ways to complete each mission. However, as someone else said, the story is never told very well. Since we really haven't seen much of Splinter Cell (and nothing of Hitman), it's pretty pointless to compare them now. But I will definitely be getting both the day they come out.
If Hitman uses the same formula it has used in the past... it will be Awesomazing... But since Eidos is owned by Square Enix now... for all we know Agent 47 is now going to be a 14 year old girly boy with long pointy blond hair and a sword the size of a small car...
Why put them against each other when they could both coexist next to my console of choice? :)
But really, I didn't even know of a possibility of Hitman 5 before this post, and seeing as how I don't see any proof of it even being announced here, I still don't know. But I'm hoping it can be really good because the last one was great.
And Splinter Cell is a definite purchase for me. Love em, and the Tom Clancy games (Mostly the older Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell stuff, oh and Rainbow Six 3 is still my fav RS.)

To answer your first question; Because humans, as a species, must dispute everything. This is one of our primary weaknesses as well as greed, pride, and ignorance.well there isn't any info on hitman 5 at all so nobody should really make a judgement on that game yet.darkghost75
Well, someone can say what they prefer the idea of can't they?
Hitman.. I loved all of the Hitman games, and Tom Clancy games were only 0k... But! Conviction looks different, so I can't wait for that either.. :D
[QUOTE="wendt360"]Agreed! Over time, I pretty much rush through the hitman missions, because of that. Splinter Cell is simply awesome. I actually think it has alot of replay value. You can do missions so many different ways, no where near the repetitiveness as lets say Assassin's Creed. I will be getting both games day one. I had the Hitman Trilogy on my PS2, and I have Double Agent for my 360. I love both franchises.splinter cell

As much as I love the Splinter Cell series, Conviction is taking the game to somewhere I don't really want to go. I still wanted to see Sam squatting in the shadows and saving the world from generric terrorists than running around during the day looking like a tramp. I am however, really excited at the prospect of playing Hitman 5. I'm a massive fan of the series and I look forward to what new features they include to build on Blood Money.
