Opinions anyone? It's brand new if anyone's wondering.

I say yes. But opinions vary. I really liked Double Agent. But its different than the previous splinter cell games. There is no "safety" zone, which means you're in broad day light quite a bit and there's not always shadows to hide in. And except for the headquarters missions there is a lot more leeway as to the use of the fifth freedom. A lot more killing. I actually preferred it to the older games but I know some die hard splinter cell fans that claimed to be disappointed with it.

I enjoyed it and it has some replay value if you want to try some of the important choices differently to catch the different endings.

Hey, I'm also interested in getting this game, but I haven't played any of the previous games. Do I have to play those first to understand the 360 version at all, or are they all completely different storylines? Thanks.
