What score do you think strangehold would get...its a pretty fun game, and am not sure what kinda score gamespot will give it...they will either like it (7.5 or above) or Hate it (6.5 or below)....i think this is a game that grows on you...when i played it first it was pretty bland to me, but from now till yesterday i've completed the demo like 20 times...it never gets old doing the crotch shots and just experimenting with precision shots...my prediction is 8.0/10...pretty fun game! good job Midway!!!
8.0 good demo....but shallow game...will get a good review just because there is no hype...so no expectations....hype is good for sales...bad for scores
All flash no substance. All you did was shoot people how ever you want to look at it. Plus their are only 7 levels, I don't care how long they are thats too short. The multiplayer will just be the single player minus the tequila time. I'm suprised with how long this game was worked on and this is all that came from the work.
I predict either a 7.5 or 8.0, I will be highly surprised if it get's any higher, because it's too repetetive after a while, and I will be highly surprised if it gets any less because it's still an excellent game with great replay value as long as you don't play it for hours on end.
I think it will get an 8 or 8.5. Story looks good, the gameplay is fun, don't know how the multiplayer will work out. I will get the game eventually, once I can buy it cheap.
I'm gonna go with a 7 or 7.5 at most. It could have been better had the game throw less bad guys for you to shoot at but crank up their AI and flesh out the cover mechanic a bit more. Its too straighforward and shallow to be a great game, but its still fun to be considered as a good game

It is a Demo, I think the score will be 7 but it's Jon Woo and Chow Yun Fat so the story has to be pretty cool. Big fan of Jon Woo and Hard Boiled is a classic. 7 levels I think means 7 Bosses and alot of check points in between. Been waiting on this for awhile.
I'd bet money (something I don't normally do) that this game will not get more then 7.5, and that's a high estimate. It was shallow, ugly and terribly simple, id say 6 or 6.5 and I can't help but feel even that's a little too high. And you can quote me on this.
Just finished playing the demo and have to say that this game is pretty sweet. All the interactions you can perform are awesome and the standoff feature is wicked also. This is a must buy for me and I think it will get 7.5-8.
I would say 7.5... I mean it was a fun demo, but after butt-sliding every time yo go near an object that permits you to slide gets annoying. lol After playing the Demo, it left me wanting to rent it ratehr than buying it. It fealt like a mix of The Darkness and Enter the Matrix. But not nearly top notch as the Darkenss, to me.
I'd have to agree with a few who think it'll score somewhere in the mid 7s. Maybe a 7.5. Gameplay was good, but repetitive, graphics were nice, but you relied on the whole slow motion sliding over things too much.
