Having finished Blue dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata and near the end of Infinite Undiscovery I was wondering which game should I buy next, I only have enough for one, which would you recommend?

Star ocean got a 7.5 here on gamespot

Last Remnant got a 6.5 due to framerate and pop-up issues, but i've been told that if you install the game on your hardrive (something I always do) these problems are greatly reduced

which game would you recommend me?

Tales of Vesperia. It's much better than Star Ocean IMO. Better story, less annoying characters, and I liked the anime style of the graphics.

Haven't played Last Remnant, but Tales of Vesperia is a better purchase over Star Ocean TLH.

final fantasy or tales of vesperia. ToV has multiplayer also! the level system and combat are wayyyy better than last remnant or star ocean.

I haven't played Star Ocean but it does look good. I think The Last Remnant is a great game that is underrated. It is for the hardcore JRPG fans I guess which ironically enough it was my first JRPG (since NES days) and it is what got me into the genre. Also, people really like Tales of Vesperia I started playing it and it is good but I didn't think it was as great as people make it out to be. I enjoyed The Last Remnant, Lost Odyssey, and Magna Carta 2 over Tales of Vesperia.

Last Remnant was awesome in my opinion. Interesting battle system and pretty good story. The framerate issues are terrible, but yes, reduced if you install it to the harddrive. What I really liked about LR is that its combat system was so different. You should at least watch a video first and see what its like before making your decision.

Definitely The Last Remnant, but it's strictly geared to the hardcore. I enjoy this game a lot with bugs and all... Installed that is =P

Let me preface by saying that I have Last Remnant for the PC rather than on the Xbox360, so I do not have experience with whatever technical difficulties the game may have, but I did enjoy Last Remnant more than Star Ocean. The characters, story, and battle system were more appealing to me.

Others have mentioned Tales of Vesperia, which I am currently about to finish my first play-through on, and I find it a good game as well.

From SO or LR I would have to recommend LR. :)

Man I don't know! What I do know is that Last Remnant was the most frustrating game I've played this generation. And to tell you the truth IREALLY wanted to love it, but I just couldn't. For instance, I was about 3/4 through the game when I realized that I leveled up wrong, I was just pissed. There are just so many pieces of Last Remnant that could have been really cool, but for some reason they did not translate to the game very well. I do know some people that just loved the game, I was just one that didn't.
