How do you guys find gameplay in the demo of SW:TFU ?
I'm asking because I found that the targeting system for your force powers is making the entire game barely playable on the highest difficulty setting. There's no skip target / next target or manual targeting what-so-ever : ( (or I've missed something ?) I always end up shooting bolts in the cans in front of the enemies, not in the enemies them-selves, the same is with the rest of force powers.
So what is the point of having those over the top force powers, when you cant even use them the way you want in most situations : /
What are your thoughts ?
ps. I hope they will improve the system with a patch or smth.kc666
Weird i never found this to be a problem and im a sith i dont pick an individual object i throw what i find at the enemy your complaint is just nitpicking i think you should stop expecting perfection from games because star wars games have never ever been perfect so accept that it has one little flaw that is at best LITTLE!

So your a button masher ? Throwing whatever, doing whatever etc. well I like to have a lot more control over my actions, especially playing as Darth Vaders secret ninja-like apprentice ]:->[QUOTE="capthavic"]Yeah the I hated the demo. I could never grab what I wanted and rarely hit what I was trying to when throwing stuff.
I was mildly interested in the game, but after the demo I'm gonna pass.

Get good at the game and then you will enjoy it.
If I have to "get good" at a game to have fun then it's not a good game.

What? You don't even have to "try" when throwing stuff. You throw it in the general direction of an enemy and the flying object will do the rest. Just try picking something up and flicking it in the general direction of an enemy, the auto targeting will do the rest.
The targeting kind of sucks though.. as someone prevously said, you can grab TIE fighters and bombers in the hangar but most of the time the targeting system won't co-operate. Who wants to throw a crate when you can throw a whole ship?

Um just about any game. If a game is good then you should have fun regardless of your skill. You can have more fun once you master the intricacies of the game but it shouldn't be a requirement.
The game just didn't give me the feeling I was in control. And I'm not going to spend the time getting good at a game thats not fun.

Okay.... so it's the games fault that you stink at video games...okay I get it.
I for one had no problems with the targeting system or using the powers, but then again, I have skills.
The whole game is lacking fine tuning
It feels like they're a year away from it being a good game and they released the demo to find out just how broken it is right now.
Sadly the game is coming out in less then three weeks so chances are it's going to be just as broken when it's on the store shelf.

It is if the game has bad controls. The fact that I'm not the only one complaining about the controls is proof of that.
