I'm not surprised at all. I thought it would have scored less, 6.0 -7.0.

Well from what i saw of the review its not a bad 7.5 a great story very very fun game to play they just should have spent more time with ironing out the bugs i mean it is a new system no other game on the market has the physics that this game offters but they should have spent more time on it. I'm not mad about any of it i think its a good buy i mean ive delt with worse then a few bugs here and there to have fun with a new game, hell i bought GTA4 and it got a ten and lord have mercy i forced myself to play ten hours of that mess before i couldn't take it anymore and traded it in. So i think this will be a great game to mess with until the real games hit in october and november.

7.5 is good enough for me, I just want to play out the story line, and the guy who reviewed the game stated that it was enjoyable for the most part.

It's actually good compared to other Star Wars games. I love Force unleashed but I didn't expect anything from Gamespot.

I just can't believe that they gave this a higher score than mercenaries 2. I have played both, and I thought that mercs 2 was the better game by far.So, if it had been up to me, I would have given mercs 2 an 8.0 and star wars a 6.5. but that's just my opinion.

Well I was gonna rent this game no matter what and I guess 7.5 is not that bad comparing to GT's 6.9 and IGN's 7.3.

GameTrailers gave SW:TFU a 6.9 in their video review and they're pretty good when it comes to reviewing, so I'd believe that score/review.

It's a shame really, this game had so much potential and it was all wasted. I'll still be picking it up, but it might not be until this weekend sometime.

Wow. "Incredibly short 7-8 hour campaign" WTF did I hear that right? I though it was said to be more like 12-15 hours?

Most action games don't have incredibly long stories, so 8 hours is fine. Not everyone has time to sit for 8 hours in one day and play through the whole game anyway. Can't wait till tonight. Good thing I work later in the afternoon tomorrow, ha.

That score sounds about right, anything higher would be too generous.

I wasn't expecting a higher score then that actually. But a 7.5 isn't all so bad, the game seems decent but it also seems to have it's downs.

7-8 hours, uninteresting levels, level repetition, ho-hum combat, force powers can feel wonky at times, fighting is a chore, cool bosses that just turn into quicktime events, boring combos, crash bugs, clipping issues, glitchy boss battles, unpolished, texture issues, sound cutting out...

Ouch, sounds like a rental at best.

From the sounds of it, the game will be fun enough to play through twice. Plus, there are 2 different endings, and you will need 2 playthroughs to get all the achievements.

Some games are just too long for multiple playthroughs...I just finished eternal sonata and wanted to go back and do a second playthrough for achievements, but it took me 25-30 hours to beat...and I just dont have that much time when so many good games are coming out soon.

Does this game have LIVE? Other than like, leaderboards and stuff - can you actually interact and stuff, or not? Im really confused if its only an 8 hour campaign with no proper online play - who would want it?
Although I'm probably gona rent it =]

What? Gamespot is supposed to give the low score not the hig score. I said it would be a 6.5-7, my prediction is ruined now. Kevin just had to be forgiving.

I'll be renting the game for the story (and achievements). Just like I thought.

People have bought SP only games for years. Would you rather they added some crap online mode like Stranglehold and The Darkness did. I'm glad this game doesn't have online, if reviews say it is unpolished and that it has glitches those would likely be even worse if they spent time with a bad online mode.

The same could be said for Too Human (and has!), lest we forget. :P It's funny that no one faults COD4 or Gears for having 6hr SP campaigns, even though they would techincally fall into this same catergory. Hmm, I don't know. I might just wait for BIA:HH. :?

Im am biased, I love star wars, prequels are ok, but u get my point.....star war games have never really gotten amazing reviews except for "knights" and I am not into RPG, so ya, this is a buy for me, right now nothing good is really out, and madden is already pissing me off, probably trade it for this. Also keep in mind 8 to 9 hrs is a long game! A lot of us have school, work, mad homework and when we need a break, pop in a game for half hr 45 min. to me thats worth the money! I dont get people who play games for hrs non stop its like ruining a great album, u first buy it and just keep it on repeat for two weeks and then its done.....savor the games!

Yeah, but Star Wars has been dead for quite a while now. I know the fans love it, but Lucas has milked the property right into the ground, sadly.

BIA: HH? That game looks awful. And I loved previous BIA. All the delays have caused me not to give a darn about it. :(

Yeah I'm waiting for BIA:HH too. I was going to get SW:FU but considering all these mediocre reviews, I'm not going to spend $65 (w/tax) on it. Despite the short campaigns for COD4 and gears, the online play really compensated for it. So I wouldn't even say they belong on the same category. Wait, does Too Human have online play?
