GameTrailers gave SW:TFU a 6.9 in their video review and they're pretty good when it comes to reviewing, so I'd believe that score/review.
It's a shame really, this game had so much potential and it was all wasted. I'll still be picking it up, but it might not be until this weekend sometime.

7-8 hours, uninteresting levels, level repetition, ho-hum combat, force powers can feel wonky at times, fighting is a chore, cool bosses that just turn into quicktime events, boring combos, crash bugs, clipping issues, glitchy boss battles, unpolished, texture issues, sound cutting out...
Ouch, sounds like a rental at best.
Wow. "Incredibly short 7-8 hour campaign" WTF did I hear that right? I though it was said to be more like 12-15 hours?hellshemi
From the sounds of it, the game will be fun enough to play through twice. Plus, there are 2 different endings, and you will need 2 playthroughs to get all the achievements.
Some games are just too long for multiple playthroughs...I just finished eternal sonata and wanted to go back and do a second playthrough for achievements, but it took me 25-30 hours to beat...and I just dont have that much time when so many good games are coming out soon.
What? Gamespot is supposed to give the low score not the hig score. I said it would be a 6.5-7, my prediction is ruined now. Kevin just had to be forgiving.
I'll be renting the game for the story (and achievements). Just like I thought.
Does this game have LIVE? Other than like, leaderboards and stuff - can you actually interact and stuff, or not? Im really confused if its only an 8 hour campaign with no proper online play - who would want it?
Although I'm probably gona rent it =]
People have bought SP only games for years. Would you rather they added some crap online mode like Stranglehold and The Darkness did. I'm glad this game doesn't have online, if reviews say it is unpolished and that it has glitches those would likely be even worse if they spent time with a bad online mode.

The same could be said for Too Human (and has!), lest we forget. :P It's funny that no one faults COD4 or Gears for having 6hr SP campaigns, even though they would techincally fall into this same catergory. Hmm, I don't know. I might just wait for BIA:HH. :?

Yeah, but Star Wars has been dead for quite a while now. I know the fans love it, but Lucas has milked the property right into the ground, sadly.
BIA: HH? That game looks awful. And I loved previous BIA. All the delays have caused me not to give a darn about it. :(

Yeah I'm waiting for BIA:HH too. I was going to get SW:FU but considering all these mediocre reviews, I'm not going to spend $65 (w/tax) on it. Despite the short campaigns for COD4 and gears, the online play really compensated for it. So I wouldn't even say they belong on the same category. Wait, does Too Human have online play?
